The new wine contest is rather odd, why? For once the quality required is higher on Realm2 than 1. Ever seen that before?

it's only 1 quality and 2 quality... doesn't metter much.

the wine contest not just push the price of wine up, but the grape price is terrible up also.

if the price of grape in the market of realm 2 is 600 caps, 20 x 600 = 12,000caps
now the wine price fall below 10,000 caps, so it not worth buying grape from market to make wine.

q2 is not high at all. coz there suger n glass n grape, easily can make a q2 wine,

if u are wonder y realm 2 is higher than realm 1. i dont think there a problem.

in fact i think selling grape maybe more profitable than selling wine in this contest.

I have to admit that I've never paid much attention to the contests as I don't enter them anyway, but haven't there been contests where both realms had a different quality in the past?

As for it driving the prices of some items up, that happens with all contests :p

i've not seen it before where it costs more to produce the contest product if buying off the market than it does to sell it
By the time you have bought 20 grapes you are at a loss, before anything else.

Guess its helping the new players loads that get tutored into building fruit plantations

There was one, actually, a while ago. It was another wine contest where grape was 100 caps each and wine was 2000 caps each. Wink

Its really great event of the wine competition. Due to that there is the increase the demand of the wine as well as grapes. The wine and grapes supplier can get much profit from it. Another thing is that people can enjoy that event too.
